Mass protest rally in Chirag Delhi against killing of 25 stray dogs

New Delhi: An awareness rally was organised on Monday to prevent the atrocities on the predominantly wild animals in the national Capital.

To protest against the brutal killings of 25 stray dogs in Chennai, the Bella Foundation organised a rally in Chirag Delhi. The rally was joined by Mahant Gaurav Sharma (World Powerlifting Gold Champion), Siddharth Bhardwaj (Sanyojak Sanskritik Prakosth, Karyakarni, Sadasya Jila, New Delhi).

Bella Foundation President, Urnika Bhardwaj took the matter seriously and told the media that the purpose of getting awareness rally was that only few days before, 25 stray dogs were caught in Nungambakkam in Chennai. They were thrown into the river by poisoning the community.

"This is our first demonstration against the devastating murder of stray dogs, which has started from Chirag Delhi Tempo stand to Bhorow Chowk and we want to make everyone aware by this awareness rally that the animals also feel pain, please stop torturing the animals," said Urnika Bhardwaj. She further added that the government should also bring strict laws.
