Manoj Tiwari slams Arvind Kejriwal, calls him 'untrustworthy'

New Delhi: The Delhi unit of Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday said that in less than six years of being in public life, Arvind Kejriwal today stands as the most untrustworthy face in the Indian politics.
The party's Delhi president Manoj Tiwari said, "Kejriwal entered the political arena pretending to be an anti-corruption crusader and to grow in stature he took upon himself the task of leveling unfounded allegations against established political leaders like Arun Jaitley, Nitin Gadkari, Bikramjit Singh Majithia and many others."
"Within a couple of years after being challenged in the court, today people are witness to Kejriwal backtracking on his allegations against these senior leaders," Tiwari added.
"People were frustrated due to reports of corruption in public life couple of years back and at that time Kejriwal simply played with people's emotions to rise in political arena.
"Due to the unethical politics played by Arvind Kejriwal to defame opponents, he has today not only tarnished his own image but has also put the credibility of the political system at stake," Tiwari, the MP from North East Delhi, told reporters.
Tiwari further said that whether it is development or issues like sealing drive, the Kejriwal government and its MLAs have let down the people of Delhi.
"Many of his MLAs have been involved in atrocities against women and economic scams. He is disappointing the people of the national capital and after these repeated apologies, people of Delhi will not find them trustworthy any more," the Delhi BJP chief said.
