Man used toy gun to rob money, arrested

New Delhi: A 28-year man who used toy gun for robbing a person of more than one lakh rupees was arrested from Rohini. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) SD Mishra said that complainant Aman Sharma, a resident of Budh Vihar, reported that he works as a distributor with a private company and engaged in the collection of money.

"On August 11 at about 2 pm, he visited ATM near Avantika Chowk in Rohini sector 3 to deposit money," said DCP Rohini. He further added that meanwhile, one person entered the ATM and snatched Rs 1,22,000 at gunpoint and escaped.

Police have registered a case under sections 392 and 397 of IPC at South Rohini police station. During the investigation, police team arrested the accused Yogesh (28) and recovered cash Rs 90,000. The toy gun used in the commission of the crime was also recovered.
