Man tries to barge into Khalsa college, arrested

New Delhi: A person was arrested after he was found to be involved with a group of people trying to barge inside the Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College on late Wednesday night.

The police said that they have identified three other persons who are reportedly students from other colleges in North Campus.

According to the police, the incident was reported by a college official.

In the complaint, on the intervening night of September 19-20 the person who was on night duty near the residential complex of the college saw a group trying to create a ruckus outside the college. The complainant told police that the group was under the influence of alcohol.

The police said that the college staff told them the group was trying to enter the girl's hostel which was located a few meters from the spot.
