Man stabbed to death for filming obscene videos

New Delhi: A man was stabbed to death for circulating inappropriate videos of his neighbours in Sangam Vihar area on Saturday night. Police claimed that it was surfaced that the deceased has some verbal dispute with the accused prior to the incident regarding indecent conduct of the alleged persons.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) Chinmoy Biswal said that they have arrested one accused, identified as Neeraj, and they have also launched a search for other two men identified as Ankit and Jeetu, who are absconding in the case. The postmortem of the deceased got conducted in AIIMS Trauma Center and the body was handed to family members.

"On the spot blood marks were noticed in the street and it is revealed that one injured identified as Suraj (23) has been shifted to hospital by the relatives. The injured was declared brought dead," police said.

Police sources claimed that in their statements to the police, Suraj's family members alleged that the three brothers used to take bath right in front of their house, in the balcony and would often bare themselves and hurl obscene gestures towards Suraj's family members, including women. After repeated insistence that they do away with the menace his family was subjected did not yield any result, Suraj on Saturday filmed Neeraj while he was again indulging in inappropriate gestures.

Neeraj and his mother got to know of his act when they saw Suraj showing video to few boys while returning from the market. Neeraj, along with his brothers grabbed knife and stabbed Suraj multiple times.
