Man snatches iPhone to shoot TikTok video

New Delhi: In order to shoot videos for social media application, a person snatched an I phone XS in East Delhi area. He was arrested by police.

According to police, on June 12 a complaint was received in Preet Vihar police station wherein complainant Jatin Chhabra alleged that he had given an ad on the internet to sell his I phone, XS and phone deal was finalised for Rs 80,000. Both parties agreed to meet near Preet Vihar, red light to deliver the phone.

At about 6 PM, the complainant met accused Jatin Nagar(20). "Suddenly Jatin Nagar snatched his mobile and ran away. On June 15, when Jatin Nagar was commuting via Vikas Marg local police apprehended him with his KTM bike," police said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police ( East) Jasmeet Singh said that as per his version he uploads video through Tiktok and earn money. For shooting video he has snatched this mobile from the complainant as this mobile has all features for good shooting. He is at present working in the call centre, Kaushambi. No previous criminal record.

"The accused had told during interrogation that he used to get Rs.3 per like on the video which he uploads in social media, "said Singh.

In another case, valuables of a 74-year-old woman were robbed by bike-borne men in Tughlak Road area. She came down from her car when the accused targeted her valuables.
