Man rapes minor in Pataudi village

Gurugram: A class 11 student was allegedly raped by a 20-year-old man when she had gone to use the toilet in Pataudi village at around 5 am on Thursday morning. The accused forced himself on the 16-year-old and sexually abused her. A case has been registered against the man.

The girl's mother, in her complaint, said that when her daughter did not return for a long time, she went to check on her and caught the accused. She had picked up a wooden stick to beat him, however, the accused managed to escape. He even threatened the girl's mother before he fled.

The girl's mother told the police that the miscreant used to stalk her daughter while she was on her way to school in an autorickshaw. The mother also alleged that the man had molested the girl more than six months ago and even threatened of circulating private pictures of her.

Sub-inspector (SI), women's police station, Manesar, Seema Devi said that the family had not reported to the police earlier due to the fear of society. Devi added that the accused has been traced but he has not been arrested yet.
