Man kills nephew over suspicion of affair with wife

New Delhi: On the basis of suspicion of an illicit relationship with his wife, a man killed his nephew in south west Delhi's Dwarka area. Police said that the accused who was arrested from Sagarpur area had also won the confidence of the parents of deceased that some other person had committed the murder.
According to police, the incident came to light on August 1 after a body of 15-year-old boy was found in a park of Dwarka Sector-18.The body was found with a slit in his throat.
"Technical investigation revealed that deceased lived with his maternal uncle in Punjab and that he was in Delhi before the body was recovered. The deceased's uncle had cleverly joined the investigation and tried to misguide the police investigation," police said.
Police said that the accused and his version was not corroborated by technical evidence as it was confirmed that he was with the deceased in Delhi, while he claimed that he was not in the city. He purchased new SIM cards and used them in Delhi to mislead the police and after he sensed that police is tracing him, he switched off his mobile and shifted to unknown places but got later caught.
"He asked his nephew to come to Delhi on the pretext of collecting Aadhaar Card from his wife. He brought him to Dwarka and murdered him," police said.
