Man killed Nepalese live-in partner for having 'affairs'

New Delhi: A 19-year-old man was arrested for killing his live-in-partner in North West Delhi's Subhash Place area. Police claimed that the arrest was made on March 2 from Bhajanpura of North East Delhi.
According to the police, the accused was identified as Imran who lived in Brahmpuri. In the evening of March 31, the police were informed that Imran and his live-in partner were residing in a rented house in Shakurpur village, where he murdered his live-in partner and fled away from the spot. He was later arrested from North East Delhi on the basis of an information.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East) Ajit Kumar Singla stated that the accused Imran was interrogated at length. The accused disclosed that he is illiterate and is a smack addict. He used to commit petty offences to fulfill his needs.
He is a pickpocket who committed pickpocketing in buses and markets.
