Man involved in over 20 cases of robbery and snatching held

New Delhi: A 23-year-old man allegedly involved in over 20 cases of robbery and snatching was arrested from northeast Delhi's Seelampur area, police said on Wednesday. Based on a tip-off that Shehzad would be coming to meet his associated in Seelampur, officials at the Crime Branch arrested him on October 6.

"Interrogation revealed that he was first arrested in 2018 when he along with his associates fired on Mohammad Saifi to implicate a rival. After coming out from jail, he along with his associates allegedly committed over 20 incidents of robbery and snatching," DCP (Crime) G Ram Gopal Naik said.
