Man involved in 50 cases arrested from Sagarpur

New Delhi: A 26-year-old person has involved in more than 50 crime cases arrested from Sagarpur area of South West Delhi. Police claimed that the accused committed day and night burglaries and look out for cash and household articles.

Police identified that accused as Nitin who is a desperate burglar/snatcher and drug addict.

"He was involved in several incidents of theft, burglary and snatching. He committed theft, burglary and snatching in Palam, Bindapur, Dabri, Sagarpur area. He has committed more than 50 incidents of theft, burglary and snatching in Delhi," said Devender Arya, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West).

He further stated that he used to commit recce in the area of Palam, Sagarpur, Bindapur, Dabri during day and night and breaks into houses which are locked from outside or which can be easily entered after getting the suitable opportunity he used to break open lock or door with the help of iron rod and other instruments of housebreaking.

Before this, he was arrested in October 2018 and released from jail on January 4.

After coming out of jail, he again started committing the crime with a view to meet expenditures of drugs.

The team of AATS/South West Distt led by Inspector Rajesh Malik under the supervision of ACP (Ops) Parmod Kumar made the arrest.
