Man goes missing after leaving his car on DND

An Audi car was left abandoned by a 40-year-old man on DND flyway sending the cops into a tizzy on Friday as the owner of the car, who was identified by police as Charan Singh, could not be located yet.

However, suspicion were raised if the man, a resident of Noida, has jumped into Yamuna river or has gone missing leaving his vehicle behindbut despite several efforts by the cops, the man was not traced.

As the call was received, a team of policemen from Sunlight colony rushed to the spot along with the fire brigade team.

A massive search was launched for the man but till Friday evening, cops failed to locate him.

As the police and rescue teams gathered at the spot on a busy DND flyway that connect Noida with Delhi, several onlookers stopped to have a glance.

"We traced the family with the registration number of the car and informed them. They have taken the Audi that was left abandoned on the flyway," said a senior police officer.

The cops are investigating the matter.
