Man blindfolded, robbed of Rs 15L in moving car

New Delhi: A man was blindfolded and robbed off Rs 15 lakh when the robbers present inside the car snatched his bag and also his mobile phones.
The man alleged that he was later dumped at Khekda railway line.
When he somehow managed to reach the police station, he was taken to Sunlight colony police station in Delhi where an FIR was lodged.
Vijender Kumar who travelled from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh came to Delhi in a bus. After he reached Anand Vihar, he came to Sarai Kale Khan and was looking for a bus to go to Gurugram on September 26.
At around 2:30 pm he saw some men in a white colour car offering him lift till Gurugram.
The nightmare for Vijender started after the car moved close to half a kilometer. The men seated behind him pointed a gun at him and blindfolded him.
"After a cloth was tied to my eyes, the men snatched my bag and also two mobiles that I was carrying. Then they kept moving the car for around two hours. Then the three men dumped me at Khekda railway line and fled," said Vijender.
Later, Vijender with the help of a biker reached Khekda police station where the cops noted his address and took him to the place of occurrence of the crime where his bag was snatched.
He was brought to Sunlight Colony police station where on his complaint the FIR was registered.
After the incident the south east police is investigating the matter and trying to collect evidence based on the narration of the complainant.
"We have registered a case under section 394/34 of Indian Penal Code and based on the complainants sequence of events we are investigating the matter," said a senior police officer.
