Man arrested for making MMS of girl

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police arrested a native of Tamil Nadu for alleged voyerism after a girl complained about the man and lodged a complaint with Kirti Nagar Police station in Delhi. The girl who was on education tour to Delhi with the faculty from Ranchi filed a complaint against the accused who stayed in the same hotel in Delhi.

The 23-year-old student accused 29-year-old Deepak Bora of voyerism and reported the matter to Delhi Police immediately. Soon, the team of cops reached the hotel and made necessary inquiries. The accused who is a residient of Muniappan ST Perambur, Chennai was immediately taken into custody. Accused Deepak is a carpenter by profession.

It is alleged that the arrested accused made the MMS of the girl while she was in toilet. However, he was immediately spotted by the girl and the matter was reported to Delhi Police after she raised an alarm. Deepak was immediately spotted and taken into custody by Delhi Police. His mobile has also been seized and sent for examination. He is a carpenter and was staying in the same hotel where the girl and the faculty from Bihar stayed. He tried to peep in the toilet and record with his mobile phone. "We have registered a case under 354(c), 509 IPC and 66(E) I.T. Act at Police Station Kirti Nagar and accused is arrested. Case Porperty Mobile Phone has been seized by our team," said DCP West Vijay Kumar.
