Man arrested for extortion bid on doctor

New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested one of the accused persons of a gang which had demanded Rs one crore from a renowned doctor, the owner of a prestigious hospital at Dwarka Mor.

The investigating agency claimed that the doctor was threatened with lives of his child and himself if he fails to pay the money.

Police claimed that the accused Jitender is affiliated to the Pradeep Solanki and Manjeet Mahal gang.

Presently, both these kingpins are in jail in murder cases and they required money for fighting legal battle cases and to keep affiliation of gang members intact.
