Man arrested for bursting fire crackers

New Delhi: The Delhi Police have arrested a person who was involved in bursting firecrackers in New Delhi area. Police claimed that he was celebrating his daughter birth.

According to police, at around 10.15 pm on September 21, the SPG control room (PM house) informed Delhi Police that some person was bursting firecracker near Prime Minister house in Chanakyapuri

area.

After the information, the police team without wasting any time reached the spot.

Police claimed that during investigation in the case it was found that one Vivek Kumar, resident of Teen Murti Lane in Chanakyapuri was found involved in bursting crackers.

He was taken to the police station and a case under section 188 of IPC was registered. The accused was arrested.

DCP (New Delhi) Eish Singhal said that during questioning Kumar revealed that he was celebrating the birth of his

daughter.
