Man accuses business partner of cheating, EOW registers case
New Delhi: The Economic and Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police has registered a case against two persons for cheating.
The investigating agency said that the complainant in the case has accused his partner of committing fraud.
Additional commissioner of police (EOW) Suvashish Choudhary told Millennium Post that the case was registered on the complaint of Lokesh Chandra Khulbe. He filed two complaints at Madhu Vihar police station. Later on, it was transferred to EOW.
Police further added that the complainant, in his first complaint, alleged that he is one of the partners of the firm R L Buildtech.
His second partner Raj Shoukeen (woman) entered into an agreement to get two flats in her name without complainant consent.
In his second complaint, he alleged that his partner and her son created false liabilities of Rs one crore on the firm and conspired against him with other alleged persons. They also indulged the complainant in false cases under section 138 N I Act.
Police said during the preliminary investigation, it transpired that suspects misrepresented him and obtained some blank signed cheques of the firm on the pretext of utilising it for the day to day affairs of the business. During the course of the enquiry, it has been established that the liability was created by making false entries (transfer of money) into various accounts in the year 2017.
A case has been registered in the case.
