Maken flags off 'Save Metro Rath' from Tilak Nagar Metro
New Delhi: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Maken flags off the "Save Metro Rath" in the third phase of the "Stop Politics, Save Metro" campaign from the from Tilak Nagar Metro station on Sunday.
The Save Metro Rath covered various stations for three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening, including stations such as Tilak Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Tagore Garden and Madipur metro stations.
Maken said that the campaign has been receiving overwhelming support and people are enthusiastically giving their suggestions on the flex boards kept outside the metro stations.
Accusing Kejriwal for destroying the public transport system in Delhi, Maken said that the development has been ten years behind since AAP government came to power and instead of improving public transport system, the it has reduced the number of buses by 1,500 causing hardships for the common man.
