Kidnappers demand Rs 3 cr from 'honey trapped' bizman

GURUGRAM: In an unusual case, a 45-year-old businessman was kidnapped by a gang and then released without taking a ransom of Rs 50 lakh that they had initially demanded. However, the abductors are now demanding Rs 3 crore, claiming they have a video clip of the man in a compromising position.
The ordeal for Ravinder Kumar Tyagi started on Saturday, when he was going outside Gurugram for a professional commitment. On his way, however, he was reportedly enticed by a woman, who was a part of gang that abducted him.
Tyagi was kept in confinement for three days, while his family filed a complaint of abduction with the police. However, to the relief of the family, Tyagi returned on Monday.
Later, in the evening, the abductors called Tyagi and his family demanding a sum of Rs 3 crore, threatening that they would release the sleazy video clip of Tyagi with the female abductor.
