Kidnapped Firozabad toddler rescued; two arrested

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police has rescued a kidnapped girl from Firozabad and arrested two men in the case. The girl was kidnapped from New Usmanpur on October 24.
The father of kidnapped minor girl gave a statement to the police in which he reported that his daughter aged about 4 years went to shop at about 9:30 AM, but she did not return. They have searched her in the nearby areas of Usmanpur and surrounding areas but got no clue. He suspected that someone has kidnapped his daughter.
Sensing the sensitivuty of the matter, the Delhi police soon formed teams to get some clue of the kidnappers. The efforts soon yeilded fruits as during the course of investigation, a secret informer informed that he has some clue about the kidnapped girl. He stated that one paralyzed person namely Shahdab used to visit at house of the complainant. He might have kidnapped the girl. On the basis of information, interrogation of Shahdab was done.
"During his interrogation, Shahdab, revealed that he has sold the kidnapped girl to his one known person Nageen who is residing in Firozabad, UP and it was decided in their deal that the payment of dealing will be decided later on as they were known to each other from last 15 years." said DCP North East AK Singla.
The team along with Shahdab was sent to Firozabad in search of kidnapped girl as well as the accused person. The Delhi Police team reached at Firozabad, UP and the kidnapped girl has been rescued safely from the possession of accused Nageen and he was also arrested.
