Kejriwal summons Chief Secretary for absence from Shastri anniversary event

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has summoned Chief Secretary M.M. Kutty over his absence from the event held to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri at Vijay Ghat here on Monday.
Nagendar Sharma, the media Advisor to the Chief Minister, on Monday said in a tweet that the Chief Minister had summoned the top Delhi officer for being absent from the Vijay Ghat programme.
The birth anniversary celebration of the former Prime Minister was attended by President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, among others, earlier in the day.
In the past also, the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government had been at loggerheads with government officers.
Kutty was unavailable for comment on the issue.
