Kejriwal asks Sisodia to reduce burden on students

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal his asked his deputy Manish Sisodia to reduce the burden of studies on school students by half.
The Chief Minister also stressed on turning school students into better human beings and persons who respect women.
"I appeal (Education Minister) Manish Sisodia to reduce the burden of studies on students by 50 per cent. More focus should be on making students a good human being and a person who respects women," Kejriwal said on Friday.
Listing the Delhi government's achievements in the education sector, Kejriwal said that "revolutionary works" were done in the field and in improving the standard of government schools.
He also stressed on imparting quality education to the students, in a way that they not only get good jobs but also become good citizens.
