Juvenile apprehended for killing woman

New Delhi: A 17-year-old juvenile was apprehended for killing a woman who refused to give him extortion of Rs 50,000 in Dwarka district. Police claimed that the accused wanted to become rap-artist but due to the bad company, he choose the path of crime.

Five days before the arrest, an alleged CCTV footage of the incident went viral in which it can be seen that an elderly woman was shot dead while she was huddled around a bonfire in south-west Delhi's Uttam Nagar area. The police have not released the name of the accused as they suspect that he may be a minor.

The case solved by the team of Inter-border Gangs Investigation Squad of the Crime Branch. Additional CP (Crime) Ajit Kumar Singla said," they apprehended the accused."
