Jewar airport: YEIDA holds pre-bid meeting

GREATER NOIDA: In a bid to expedite construction of the much awaited international airport at Jewar in Greater Noida, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) on Friday held a pre-bid meeting regarding selection of consultants for preparing the Techno-Economic Feasibility report (TEFR), officials of the Authority said.
The meeting took place in YEIDA's conference room and representatives of around eleven companies participated in the meeting.
KPMG, Deloitte, L&B, Nippon Koei India Pvt Ltd, CRISIL India Pvt Ltd, ARUP, Creative Group, CBRE, actebel, RITES India Pvt Ltd and Louis Berger were among the companies which participated in the meeting.
"The state government had directed the Authority to expedite the construction of Jewar airport, in the wake of which we organised a meeting with those expected to complete the construction work and prepare the TEFR effectively and within time," said Shailendra Bhatia, officer on special duty, YEIDA.
"Concerned companies raised their queries which were noted down. The Authority will try to resolve their issues at the earliest. We have also shown a presentation to the consultant E&Y in presence of senior YEIDA officials. Once finalised, the consultant will be given task and will be directed to prepare the report at the earliest," added Bhatia.
At the meeting, General Manager (Planning), General Manager (finance) and other officers of the Authority were also present.
