IP university staff publishes book on Indian cinema

New Delhi: IP University on Sunday released a book on Indian cinema that was written by their staff Kamal Dhiwan. The book Madhubal - The Venus of Indian Cinema has come up after more than five years extensive research of the author.

"The author has written around half dozen books on famous characters of Hindi cinema including Dev Anand and Kishore Kumar. He has travelled extensively nationally and globally for research purposes while writing these popular books on Indian cinema," said a statement by the university.

Dhiwan is also the General Secretary of Kishore Kumar Memorial Club.

The club has recently organised 18th Kishore Kumar Memorial Awards in Delhi.

The book was released by the social activist Col. Dalmir Singh and senior leader Dharam Pal.
