Initiative to provide free treatment to cancer patients

In a bid to provide free and quality treatment for the underprivileged citizens of Delhi, Umeed, an initiative taken by some prominent private health care was launched on Wednesday.

BJP National Vice president Shyam Jaju along with prominent doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) supporting the cause throughout with an aim to provide free surgery and chemotherapy for the poor section of the society, after the proper verification of documents of the patients

"This will share the burden of government oncogene institute like AIIMS and Delhi Institute of Cancer care.

"With this step patient can avail the right treatment on time," said a doctor present at the launch meet.
