IAS aspirant ends life

NEW DELHI: A boy who was preparing for IAS exams ended his life by hanging himself on Tuesday. The police received a PCR call that a boy has hanged himself from the ceiling fan in Ber Sarai of South Delhi.
The boy has been identified as Samrat, a resident of Bhore Kalan village, Tehsil Pataudi in Gurgaon. When police reached the spot they found that the room was closed from inside. The police team has to forcibly open the door and the body of Samrat was found hanging. During the inspection, a suicide note was found.
"A suicide note has been found from the spot and the victim blamed none for his extreme step. He has stated in the note that since he could not achieve anything in life, he is taking this step," said a senior police officer. Addressing the note to his brother and parents, he has asked forgiveness for his step. The note reveals that he was not happy with his life and could not attain anything substantial and hence chose to end his life. The body has been sent for the postmortem and his parents have been informed.
