Hotelier, female friend escape abduction bid

It was a lucky escape for a hotel professional and his female friend on Friday night after they were abducted by a group of miscreants.

The duo who were returning from a party organised in their hotel were stopped near Begumpur Chowk by three culprits at gunpoint who then forced them into their car.

The men then drove towards a desolate spot near Aravallis around the Kadarpur stretch.

At the spot, the woman bit the hand of one of the abductors and fled away from the spot. Similarly, her male friend also was able to get out of the clutch of his two abductors by hitting them with a sharp object.

The two then got in touch with each other through their mobile phones and later went to Badshahpur police station where they formally lodged their complaint.

According to police, the victims have stated in their statement that their victims were under the influence of alcohol and had more sinister plans than to just commit robbery. Meanwhile, the crime branch of Gurugram police has begun their searches at Kadarpur area and its nearby villages to get hold of the culprits.
