Haryana Police ASI kills self in Ggn

GURUGRAM: A police official of Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) rank committed suicide at his residence in Gurugram by hanging himself.
The deceased, who has been identified as Sant Ram, was deputed in Faridabad and was residing in Shikohpur near Sector-82.
It is believed that the victim committed suicide on Thursday night, but his family members found his body on Friday morning.
Even though reasons for the suicide have not been ascertained, it is believed that Sant Ram was troubled by domestic problems.
"At the moment, it seems to be a case of suicide as the police official was depressed on personal issues. We are in touch with his family members and trying to find out if there were other reasons which caused him to take the extreme step," said a official from Gurugram police.
The district police, meanwhile, are investigating other angles into his untimely death.
This is second incident where a police official committed suicide in the city.
In March, Inspector Kuldeep Dahiya, an additional station house officer at Sadar police station, shot himself with his service revolver.
The deceased had retired from Indian Air Force and joined the Haryana police.
Domestic troubles had led to the death of another police official, 46-year-old Inspector Naresh Yadav. Yadav was murdered by his 21-year-old son at his residence of DLF Phase-III.
Like Sant Ram, he too was an ASI deputed in Faridabad.
