Gym trainer killed, family blocks road

With no arrests made by the police so far in the murder case of 28-year-old gym trainer Sajan Bhati in Salarpur village of Noida, his family members and several other villagers on Wednesday blocked the Noida-Dadri main road and demanded immediate arrest of all the accused.
The protesters placed deceased's dead body on road and blocked the road for over two hours during the peak hours of day.
Huge traffic jam was witnessed due to this.
The protest took place on Wednesday morning in which the road was blocked by local residents and victim's relatives from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. The family alleged that a relative killed the gym trainer over a property dispute.
The villagers placed the barricades at the two ends of the road despite heavy police deployment.
The situation was brought under control after police intervened.
The police officials assured the protesters that they are making every possible effort to nab the culprits and soon they will be arrested.
"All the accused are absconding and we are in the process of arresting them. At the moment, the entire village is siding with persons mentioned in the FIR and we don't want to create any law and order problem in the area. We are interrogating every possible suspect," said senior police official. Sajan Bhati, was shot dead by 10 men outside his home in village Salarpur on Tuesday evening.
"They were around 10 attackers who fired more than fifteen rounds of bullets. The attackers sat in a scorpio and Maruti swift car and waited outside the house for Bhati's arrival.
"As Bhati arrived home, one of the 10 attackers knocked on the window of his car and opened fire as he rolled down the window pane. Around six bullets hit him due to which he died on the spot," said one of Bhati's family members.
