Gurugraman service working to increase its fleet size

Gururgram: Gurugraman, the city-wide special bus service presently operating with 23 buses, is all set to increase the fleet size.

According to officials, authorities are working on war footing to introduce 100 more buses by the year end. Ever since the city bus service was introduced in August, there has been favourable response to this service from residents.

Challenges, however, are aplenty for the service. There is skepticism that the service must not become like Haryana roadways, which is running under a loss of over Rs 600 crore. Moreover, the popularity of diesel autos and local bus services because of their low fares remains.
