Guard stabbed to death, 2 held

NEW DELHI: A security guard of a factory was stabbed to death by assailants over a petty dispute in North West Delhi's Jahangirpuri area on Thursday morning.

The body was found with stabs wounds near Rasila Paints in Mahindra park police station area on Thursday morning at around 8.24 am. The deceased was identified as Tejpal, a resident of Etah district in Uttar Pradesh.

The police team rushed him to a nearby hospital where the doctor declared him dead. Police have arrested a man and apprehended a minor in connection of the murder.

A case was registered against an unknown person under 302 IPC at PS Mahendra Park, Delhi and the investigation was taken up by Delhi Police.

Soon the cops got the breakthrough and solved the case within 12 hours.

"One accused is claiming to be juvenile whose age is yet to be ascertained. Another accused has been identified as Kapil alias Bona (19), a resident of Mahendra Park. During interrogation, it was learnt that both had a quarrel over a petty issue with the deceased. We have seized the weapon of offence," said DCP North West.
