'Govt to set up Vigyan Pratibha Vidyalaya in each of 29 zones'

NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday announced that the Delhi government will set up Vigyan Pratibha Vidyalaya in each of the 29 zones of Delhi. These schools will have the best possible facilities, some of the most innovative science teachers, well equipped science labs with all other resources needed by students.

He was speaking on the occasion of the state-level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition 2019-20. The Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated the event which was organised by the Science Branch, Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi, here at the Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya (RPVV), Surajmal Vihar, Delhi. "Our goal for teaching science would not be restricted to teach students and make them capable enough to secure good jobs in engineering or medical field, we should also encourage them to work hard and be dedicated towards providing solutions through scientific innovations," Manish Sisodia said.
