GNIDA to go online for map approval

Greater Noida: Aiming to provide a relief to citizens and bring transparency, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is planning to approve building maps, under all residential and industrial plot's scheme, through online medium.

According to information, the newly proposed building plan management system shall apply on all residential, IT, commercial, group housing and other properties. The scheme will automate from online documents submission, online fee payment, architect registration, building plan approval and approval to completion and occupation certificates.

"GNIDA had already started online map approval for various properties in May 2016 while industrial plots measuring upto 450 square meter was started in May 2018. But from now the manual submission of map approval for all properties will only be accepted till 31st January 2019 and from 1st February, all the map approvals will be done through online medium only," a senior official of GNIDA said.

The officer further said that once the facility comes in action, a person can easily get approval of building map online by just sitting at

home.

"To apply for map approval online, users can visit the authority's website and select the online approve map option. They will then have to make an online profile with details such as name, email id and phone number. Consumers will be provided with a one-time password, after which they can log in for map approval and can also track the progress of their map approval process," the officer added.

After getting confirmation that the consumer has deposited the fee, a message will be generated.

This message will reach the map approval authority, who will check if the map is in accordance with building by-laws and other details, and it will be approved.
