Ggn school suspends student who threatened to rape teacher's daughter

Gurugram: Taking strict action against the indiscipline of one of its students, a prominent private school in Gurugram has suspended a class VII student who threatened his teacher of raping her daughter who was his classmate. The gross act of misconduct did not only end. Adding to more shock and shame, a class VIII student of the same school sent a written post to his teacher requesting for a candlelight dinner and subsequently insistence to have sex with her.

In the city to attend a private function on Wednesday, the Haryana Governor raised his concern on conditioning of today's youth that is leading to extreme aggression, anger and indiscipline among them. The Governor brought the incidents in Haryana where a class XI student shot dead his principal in Yamuna Nagar and the Ryan murder case where 16-year-old has been chargesheeted by CBI for the murder of 7-year-old boy.

This is not for the first time when the disturbing trend among minors has been experienced in the Millennium city. In 2007, a class VIII student shot dead his counterpart from a licensed gun that was stolen from his father.

On an average there are 10 crimes that are committed daily by the juveniles. While it may include petty crimes like robberies, snatching and molestation of late most of them have also attempted rapes and murder say police officials.
