Ggn RWAs' to jointly protest against poor road condition

Angry over the inaction of the civic agencies and the private builders for the poor condition of roads in their colonies, various resident welfare associations (RWA) are now planning to come together and jointly hold a protest march.
This will be for the first time when RWA'S will jointly come together and will try to put pressure on the responsible agencies.
RWAs of Sushant Lok, DLF, Ardee City and Suncity are some of the citizen groups that are expected to hold the protests.
There are also talks to include more RWA's from sectors under Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) that too are reeling under several civic woes.
The recent rain showers have deteriorated the condition of roads that have not been maintained in the colonies.
Not only roads but the aggrieved citizens also plan to raise issues of increased power cuts, shortage of water supply, poor security in their area.
"For long citizens are trying to make both private and public agencies to improve the civic conditions in their colony yet there is no accountability," said Meenakshi Rao, a resident of Sushant Lok.
Lack of action by the civic agencies has resulted in most of the citizens fund privately to build or improve the condition of roads in their area.
