Ggn residential society files complaint against Unitech

The residents of Fresco Condominium Society at Golf Course Extension Road have filed a formal complaint against the developer Unitech with the police for not repairing the malfunctioned lifts.
Mentioning of the risks, the residents highlighted that how three kids who were between the ages of 10 and 12 got trapped in the lift for the duration of 20 minutes. They also added that earlier also, an aged woman in her late 60's also faced the similar ordeal.
After hearing the complaint, the police will be sending a notice to the senior management of developer asking them why the lifts have not been maintained.
"There are around 32 lifts in the society. Every lift today is been plagued by a problem. Based on the information, we have been able to get the developer has not paid the contractor OTIS that is resulting in the problems," said Nilesh Tandon, one of the members in Fresco residential society.
The complaint by the residents of deficient lifts come just weeks after more than 20 persons that involved boys as well as girl got stuck in the lift for more than an hour in a posh mall at Golf- Course road who were heroically rescued by the personnel of Gurugram Police.
There were complaints that most of the societies and malls do not maintain their lifts in order to save expenses.
