Ggn police hold session on dealing with crime involving juveniles
Gurugram: Senior police officials of Gurugram police on Wednesday held a meeting on how to effectively deal with crimes involving juveniles.
In a city where according to official estimates every fourth day there is a crime against minor, discussions were also held on how to quickly solve the crimes. Also present were the senior officials of juvenile justice board and Haryana state child welfare commitee. Some of the suggestions that were discussed were ensuring that there was comprehensive investigation being conducted in the crimes involving minors and emphasising that more than punishment reforming the minor should be the main priority. There was also an opinion of creating a strong mechanism where the cental and state government can coordinate in dealing with criminals who are juveniles.
