Fugitive held for killing man over road rage

NEW DELHI: The crime branch of Delhi Police arrested a fugitive and a contract killer of Randeep Bhati and Anil Dujana gang identified as 28-year-old Sunil

Bhati.

He carried a cash reward of Rs 25,000 was declared by the Uttar Pradesh Police on his arrest.

On the intervening night of January 4-5, Dharmendra, who himself had several criminal cases registered against him at the Badalpur police station, was picked up by the members of the Randeep Bhati gang from his house and was shot dead.

The assailants had later dumped his body near the Roopvaas, about a few kilometres away from Dharmendra's home, and then fled from the spot.

The trigger for the killing was a road rage incident. One semi-automatic pistol .32 bore with six live cartridges have been recovered from his possession.

The accused was born in a village Junpat, in Dadri.

He studied up to 5th class in his native village and gangster Randeep Bhati was his classmate.
