Fruits of development will also reach Nuh: Hry CM Manohar Lal Khattar

Gurugram: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday in an election rally said that Nuh will not be left behind the development. Khattar conceded that while Gurugram was one of the richest cities in the country, the neighbouring Nuh was the most backward district in the country. He blamed the discrimination of the previous governments in not ensuring equitable growth in Haryana.

The Chief Minister in his speech highlighted how Nuh will benefit from a large amount of investment s by the Central and the state government in developing national highways and expressways around the region. With employment opportunities being one of the pressing points for the government the chief minister also spoke fo the steps taken to create means of employment in the region.

"The state government is committed to ensuring that the youth in Nuh are not devoid of the employment opportunities. We have ensured that certain posts were created in the government services where the youth can be employed. We have been able to get a favourable response from the scheme," said the Chief Minister.

He also spoke of the problems being faced by the driver s who were rendered unemployed because of the changes in the central motor vehicle act. "According to the new amendments in the central motor act it has been made mandatory that the commercial drivers should have passed the tenth grade. I understand that most of the drivers have not been able to get adequate education because of the lack of opportunities and therefore I had urged the Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari to make certain amendments in this rule," the Chief Minister added. He also said that a medical college will also be built in the area of Nuh.
