Four held in murder case

New Delhi: Four persons involved in the murder case were arrested by Central Delhi Police on Wednesday.

Police identified the accused as Akash Kumar (26), Akash (25), Dev Arjun (24) and Mahesh Kumar. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Mandeep Singh Randhawa said that on June 2, information regarding injury of a person by three gunshots was received at Karol Bagh police station.

One Bharat who along with his two friends was sitting in a shop in the street was shot by two unknown persons came on a scooty.

"Bharat sustained injuries on both of his feet and left side of the buttock. The injured was taken to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital from where he was shifted to RML Hospital for further treatment. During the course of treatment, Bharat succumbed to his injuries on June 9and section 307 IPC was changed to 302 IPC in the case," said DCP Central.

Later the accused were arrested in the case. One of the criminal Mahesh Kumar was pursuing his LLB.

Gang of motor vehicle theft busted

Three persons who used to tow away vehicles with the help of crane were nabbed from DBG road area. It is being probed whether the gang has stolen more than 100 cars till now.

The accused used to lift cars using the crane in such a manner that others thinks that the cars were being towed away for wrong parking.

It is being investigated that whether the accused got the idea of lifting cars through cranes from a crime series on television.
