Fake job racket busted in Noida

Noida: Two persons have been arrested by Noida Special Task Force (STF) team for allegedly running a fake racket, who use to dupe people on providing reputed government jobs which were never delivered.

According to officials, the arrest was made from Bijnor district on Western Uttar Pradesh on early Thursday morning.

"We had received several complaints from various aspiring candidates who were duped by the gang. Police team acted upon a tip-off and arrested two accused including the gang leader from Bijnor bus stand," said R K Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Noida STF.

Police officials said that the arrested persons were identified as kingpin of the gang Shailendra alias Suraj Malik and his accomplice Veerendra

Kumar.

"During interrogations, it came to light that the gang members would target candidates appearing for various government exams. For clearing the exams, they ask them for fees in the range of Rs 3-5 lakhs. Once the money is paid to them, the stop receiving the calls, added Mishra.
