Fake call centre busted by Gujrat cops in Dwarka
NEW DELHI: Three persons have been arrested from Delhi's Dwarka by Gujrat Police for allegedly running a fake call centre. The call centre was duping people on the pretext of providing them jobs on different airlines. The needy fell in the trap and paid money.
The arrested persons have been identified as Arjun Kishanpal, Nitin Kishanpal, both brothers and Siddharth Rajpal. They all are residents of Delhi. Manish Yadav and his associate Rusabh of Madhya Pradesh are absconding.
One of the arrested accused Nitin holds a diploma in Civil Engineering. His elder brother Arjun was working as a caller in the call centre. Gujrat police have recovered 10 laptops, 10 cell phones, some visa cards and other documents have also been seized from the gang.
The accused lured the potential customer to pay money on various pretext like Fees, security deposits in various bank accounts.
The Gujrat Police had put the gang under surveillance for quite some time. It was also revealed during investigation that the accused cheated many in Gujrat, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharastra, Goa, Bihar, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Kolkata, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and
