Ex-sarpanch, son arrested for murder of CRPF man

New Delhi: Ex-Sarpanch of a village with his son was arrested for his involvement in a murder case of former DSP of CRPF Sajjan Singh in the year 2015.
According to police, the accused Surender Singh (47), a resident of Village Panchi in Haryana was a member of Block Samiti village Panchi, and has been elected twice as a Sarpanch.
His son Praveen was a graduate and presently running a business of poultry farm house in his village.
According to police, on September 5, the accused were arrested on a basis of an information from Alipur area.
The accused were nabbed along with one SAF Kanpur made .32(7.65 mm) bore revolver and .32 bore 6 live cartridges.
On inquiry, it was revealed that Parveen was also a declared Proclaimed Offender in past.
