Essel Towers' RWA to have mandatory ID cards

Our Correspondent
Gurugram: The Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of Essel Towers along the MG Road plans to have more CCTV cameras installed in the condominium society road and also ensure that all the society members must have mandatory identity cards.
The move comes amid the controversy of the administrative members barring single tenants to let people of opposite sex come into the apartment from 10 pm to 8 am.
The decision which has resulted in many raising eyebrows has also put strict directives for letting even relatives enter the apartment without proper verification.
Even though the decision by the RWA is an year long, on the night of August 4, there was a heated argument between the certain tenants and the society members of breaching this rule. The argument that lasted for around six hours resulted in one of the members even highlighting that the rule was imposed to prevent sex-trade activities occurring in the apartment. There are more than 100 single tenants that are presently living in the Essel tower apartment that is located along the MG road. Most of the young tenants working in the multinational companies opt for the condominium society because of its central location and its proximity to commercial areas of the city.
