E-rickshaw driver killed in road accident

New Delhi: A 35-year-old man was killed and two girls in their twenties injured after a battery rickshaw they were travelling in was rammed by a Honda city car at Jail Road Khalsa School in Hari Nagar.

During preliminary enquiry, it was revealed that the driver of Honda City car was driving his vehicle rashly and negligently hit one E-Rickshaw causing injuries to Mohd Tahir age-42 (driver of e-rickshaw), one girl Kanchan age-22 years and one female Rakesh age-32 yearrs. The injured persons immediately shifted to DDU where Mohd Tahir has been declared brought dead by doctor. Legal action is being taken as per Law.

The driver is absconding after the accident and the police team has been formed to arrest the driver. The owner of the car has been identified.
