Dy CM Sisodia inaugurates 64th National School Games

NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday inaugurated the 64th National School Games, hosted by Delhi government at Thyagaraj Sports Complex.

Addressing the students who came from various states, he said, "Delhi govt has substantially increased the reward for sportspersons in Delhi. We have opened our govt school spaces in the evenings for coaching academies. On this occasion, I'd like to welcome each and every sportsperson here.

We all know that not all can be champions, last year someone else was a champion, this year it would be someone else, and someone else next year - it keeps changing, but one thing that will never change in your lives is that you're a sportsperson.

That spirit of sportsmanship is the most important, it will help you with whatever you do in life. We are working hard to ensure your comfortable stay in Delhi."
