Gurugram: After deciding to form an alliance in Haryana for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, it was the show of strength for Aam Admi Party and Jan Nayak Janta Party which held their first roadshow in Faridabad. Both party chiefs that included Arvind Kejriwal and Dushyant Chautala were present during the roadshow. The two leaders asked people to vote for their candidate Naveen Jaihind. The two leaders also urged people that their vote would ensure there will be a clean government in place.
The roadshow started at around 5:00 pm from Tigaon and crossed areas of Sarai, Ashoka Enclave, Ballabgarh, NIT and Badhkal. Hundreds of party workers were present at the spot to felicitate the two leaders.
Earlier, Dushyant Chautala along with Naveen Jaihind addressed the booth workers in Palwal where they again raised the importance of selecting the government that will take care of all sections of the society. "Today each and every section of the society is unhappy with the governance of the BJP government. They look forward to AAP-JJP for trying to solve the problems. I want to assure that we will not disappoint the people who look to us as an alternative to a government that has not delivered," said Dushyant Chautala.
Naveen Jaihind of AAP who filed his nomination on April 23 is banking on the support of the middle class and the working class electorate. Other leaders in the fray are Kishan Pal Gurjar from BJP and Avtar Singh Bhadana from Congress. Faridabad is three out of 10 seats where AAP is contesting. The JJP has fielded seven candidates from other seats.
