Duo who raped 19-yr-old inside moving cab nabbed from Ggn

New Delhi: A 19-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two men inside a cab in Dwarka district, with Delhi Police saying they have arrested the two accused in the case.
According to police, the incident was reported on Saturday from Rajokri in south west Delhi.
Passersby rescued the victim girl after she was found in an unconscious state.
The girl subsequently told cops about the incident, after which a police team reached the spot and started its investigation.
To nab the accused, cops scanned CCTV footage of the area where the girl was abandoned and conducted raids in different areas, including places in Haryana.
Eventually, the two were nabbed from Gurugram on Sunday. A case has been registered under appropriate sections of Indian Penal Code.
Police sources said that on Saturday, the girl had hailed a cab from Shiv Chowk area of Gurugram, which was already occupied by three persons, including the driver.
One of the occupants got off the cab at Rajokri, after which the driver of the cab and the other passenger overpowered the girl and began driving around the city.
They took the cab to an isolated place and took turns raping the girl, after which they dumped her outside a Metro station in Dwarka.
Police sources added that the accused men were identified as Vidhur and his friend Sumit, both of whom are drivers by profession.
One of the accused is reported to be a native of Nepal, a claim which is being probed, said police.
"When the girl entered the cab, it had three persons. One person left the cab in Rajokri border area and the two accused started driving the car in areas connecting Delhi-Haryana border," said a police official.
The official further said that the accused had threatened the girl with dire consequences if she revealed the ordeal to anyone.
"The cab being driven by the accused was used for plying employees of a call centre. We are now questioning both the accused to get more information," said the police official
