DU releases 11th cut-off; limited options available

NEW DELHI: With the highest cut-off reserved at 96.5 per cent for BA Psychology (Hons) in Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University on Thursday released its eleventh cut-off list for merit-based undergraduate courses.
The cut off list is available at DU's official website. The University also informed, in a press release, that the cut-off's will be displayed at individual colleges.
Closely following IP College for Women were Gargi College and Hindu College, asking 96.25 per cent for BA Applied Psychology (H) and BA English (H), respectively. Hansraj College released the third highest cut-off, i.e. 96 per cent for BSc Mathematics (H).
Meanwhile, the lowest recorded cut-offs were for reserved category students, with 45 per cent for BCom (H) at Aditi Mahavidyalaya. Some seats were still available at prominent colleges, such as BA English (H) in Kirori Mal College at 85 per cent and BA Programme in Miranda House at 93.25 per cent.
The popular Ramjas College is also open for students, with BSc Zoology available at 93 per cent. Students can also go for the coveted course BA Economics (H), which is available at Shyam Lal (Evening) for 85 per cent for general candidates and 66.6 per cent for reserved category.
The University also released the cut-off list for the ninth round of admissions through the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB). The highest cut-off was recorded for BA Programme was at Shyama Prasad Mukerji College at 70 per cent; for BCom, the highest cut-off was 70 per cent at Miranda House. Interested students must report to the college on August 24 and August 25.
